On the fifth day of Chanukah, my true love gave to me one kosher chicken, two gefilte fish, three herring salads, four matzo balls, five bowls of borsht, and a good deal on a pear tree.

On the sixth day of Chanukah, my true love gave to me one kosher chicken, two gefilte fish, three herring salads, four matzo balls, five bowls of borsht, six chicken soups, and a good deal on a pear tree.

On the seventh day of Chanukah, my true love gave to me one kosher chicken, two gefilte fish, three herring salads, four matzo balls, five bowls of borsht, six chicken soups, seven braided loaves and a good deal on a pear tree.

On the eighth day of Chanukah, my true love gave to me one kosher chicken, two gefilte fish, three herring salads, four matzo balls, five bowls of borsht, six chicken soups, seven braided loaves, eight tasty latkes, and a good deal on a pear tree.
