That “baby Christian” reference comes via Paula White of the New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida. Pastor White, who put together Trump’s evangelical advisory committee, is an advocate of “Prosperity Doctrine” – which says that wealth is a sign of God’s favour.
Recently, White asked her followers to each donate (or sow) $1,144 to obtain their own personal “resurrection seed,” which would assure** eternal life. According to White, the figure was divinely specified. As an added bonus, those who “sow their resurrection seed” early will receive a selection of prayer cloths, which have been known to induce miraculous healing!
