“Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing the members of the American public for suckers. He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat.” –Mitt Romney
That was Mitt Romney when he was convinced that Donald Trump couldn’t possibly win the presidency. After all, Trump was caught on tape bragging about grabbing women by the genitals, which was certainly abhorrent to Governor Romney, a man of deep faith and solid principles.
Now that Trump has won the presidency and is trying to decide who should be his Secretary of State, the deeply religious and principled Governor has changed his mind:
“What I’ve seen through these discussions I’ve had with President-elect Trump, as well as what we’ve seen in his speech on the night of his victory, as well as the people he’s selected as part of his transition — all of those things combined give me increasing hope that President-elect Trump is the man who can lead us to that better future.”—Mitt Romney
All the Mormons in Utah must be vomiting uncontrollably.
It’s all about status, power and ego.
I love the last sentence.

I wonder if the “lousy hat” he referred to was the one Joseph Smith used to read the Mormon golden plates through back in the day. He’ll fit right in with the circus
